According to the Uptown Institute grading standard for performance of physical hosting facilities, ALOG’s infrastructure is classified as Tier III.
This means that using the resources listed below, ALOG has redundant infrastructure for hosting servers, and this infrastructure is maintained in such a way as to be transparent to the client.

Architecture
ALOG is installed in a 13-storey building designed and equipped to provide high-quality services and security for corporate servers. There is a third data center under construction in Tamboré-SP. The buildings are located in areas within easy access of capital, are designed and equipped to provide the best service and maximum security for corporate servers. The Tamboré SP datacenter is in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, nesr Castelo Branco hightway and the Beltway, and justa 30 minutes from downtown.
The hosting areas in the building present specially designed doors and armored walls. Only the office area of the building has windows. All of these items were considered in the initial building project to provide the best in security for our hosted servers.
Each square meter of the hosting area can hold up to one ton of equipment. Our 20 cm-high elevated floor was produced by Tate, the leading company in its segment.

Power
Our power supply structure was planned to prevent any possible faults in the system from affecting our clients. Up to this moment, we have never registered any power failure incidents.
ALOG is supplied with electric energy from two different substations in each unid. Within the buildings, an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system ensures one hour of continuous service before our generators need to come into operation, which usually happens in less than 40 seconds. Our four generators guarantee power supply for 60 hours, in case of failure in supply from the two energy substations.
Four independent power distribution boards lead to the data center floors, guaranteeing redundant supply to all of our clients’ servers.

Environment
Cooling:
ALOG’s cooling system is structured with three cooling towers for each floor – each containing six insufflators – divided into two groups. Both groups operate continuously, i.e., the six insufflators operate independently on a 24x7 basis. If any one of them fails, this will not affect the operation of the other insufflators. Two insufflators are responsible for maintaining the temperature of the UPS equipment.
Water Supply:
ALOG maintains water reservoirs located inside our safe building to guarantee that the air conditioning equipment that depends on this supply can operate for two months without interruption. Nonetheless, in case of any failure in supply, an emergency provider is activated. Water provisions arrive in less than 24 hours.
Humidity and Temperature Control:
Humidity and temperature control is guaranteed by temperature and humidity sensors distributed throughout the data center (one for every 10 m2). Temperature and humidity levels are measured every three seconds to ensure conformity with international standards.
Fire detection and suppression:
Ionic thermovelocimetric sensors are used to detect any onset of fire in the inhabitable areas of the building. The data center areas are equipped with early detection optical sensors. In the event of fire (which to this moment has never occurred), FM200 is used to suppress the flames and prevent damage to equipment. The fire detection and suppression devices are controlled by the Stratos system.
Security, Monitoring and Control:
The ALOG building has been partitioned into security perimeters to which access is granted or limited according to the employee’s functions. All sensitive areas are monitored by a digital closed-circuit TV system, whose images are permanently monitored by two different teams and stored for up to 60 days. In addition, the building’s access doors are armored, and the doors to all sensitive areas are equipped with bars for extra protection. Access to all areas is electronically controlled by sensors.
