This service uses a system that analyses and registers - according to pre-established rules - all incoming and outgoing traffic on your network, and interrupts all nonconforming traffic. Firewall systems are mandatory in order to implement Internet services with a minimum of security. 

This resource is essential to limit traffic to the network, so that applications can run properly. It is also used for investigating past traffic and analyzing network access profile. 

Models 

Dedicated Firewall
A Firewall system used exclusively by the client, managed either by ALOG or by the client's own IT team. It consists in a set of hardware and software tools supplied by ALOG. You can choose to use single hardware, or opt for redundant hardware so as to increase system availability. 

Shared Firewall
A Firewall system shared with other ALOG clients, where each client’s network is completely isolated. This system is implemented with the Checkpoint Firewall – 1 system, which is the market leader in its category. This service uses a redundant system with capacity for up to 400,000 concurrent connections.  

The Firewall systems managed by ALOG are permanently monitored by our specialized SOC team.
