Internet Bandwidth is a product that allows your point-to-point link or servers to connect to the Internet.
This connection is performed by means of a structure whose elements – border switches and routers – are completely redundant, and which is connected to a minimum of 3 telecommunications carriers, using the BGP4 protocol to select the best routes for incoming and outgoing traffic. This architecture provides excellent performance and fantastically high availability.
The Internet Bandwidth product line can be selected based on bandwidth or monthly consumption, so as to better adapt to clients needs:
• ALOG IPremium – fixed bandwidth connectivity, ideal for high availability links with constant traffic;
• ALOG IPDemand – fixed bandwidth connectivity, with flexibility to reach up to 5 times the bandwidth initially agreed. If the agreed bandwidth is exceeded, the client is charged on the basis of additional Kbps. Ideal for links with low average traffic rate which cannot lose performance due to limitations in link speed;
• ALOG IPVersatile – limited bandwidth connectivity with pre-defined monthly traffic measured in GB/month. Ideal for links with low average traffic and occasional peaks.
