Companies with one single data center capable of properly maintaining their IT infrastructure need specialized partners that can host secondary servers to be used in case of unavailability. Finding and contracting this partner represents only a small fraction of the cost of doing it yourself.

The most commonly required model for this application is the Distributed model, due to its simplicity and excellent cost-benefit ratio. Remote Access or establishment of a VPN between the main site and the backup site are critical requirements in this project.
